Maybe they already are in the Zaishen chest...
Since the Xunlai Market fuss, probably they tried to remove anything not being already in the game.
Although it would be GREAT if that were a spear drop for factions... it really fits Factions theme. Specially Luxon side...
But it fits even better the Zaishen-Balthazar theme, tho.

There are some... texts here!.
And if we look carefully......
They matched!.... looks odd.
And for the first text it matched 100% but a line + 1 "character".
The other text matched 100% but 1 "character" + 1 line
This is getting weird...

Can anyone translate or assign letters to characters?
Maybe the hold a few secrets of their own.
Perhaps there is a dat file somewhere with a few translations.
Try and assign letters to characters!

Where o where is Antigorgo he seems to be the best at finding the new items in this. Maybe anet silenced him with his own mini polar bear. Or maybe it is a cat, because curiosity would kill it if he posted more items

(I don't know which of those are important)
(If they vary, the size is 2032824)
It's a song.
Is this in the game? It sounds like a theme, it even has the GW main tune in it.
It's awesome!
Anyone else find this?
|
That's indeed an awesome track. Never heard it before.
I'm puzzled why it's not ingame, it rocks.
Here's what I found:

hahaha, if I was Bill Gates I would slap you for trying to view the dat file with word. That is about the worst way to do so. In this thread back a ways there are links to dat browsers, check them out they will do what you want, and keep bill gates from having to work on his backhand

He didn't retire from being the source of all modern technology evil to date. He will never retire from being evil... for he is the definition of it.

Heh, no new graphics files and lots of changes to the text that I'm shifting through now.
Did find this though:
Party Time!
Excellent! For %str1% second[s], you gain double points towards the Party Animal title track when using festive items.

Kinda funny cuz I think Waynes World was on HDNet or UHD the other night and I ended up watching part of it.
Also this is new:
'Victory is Ours!'
You outnumber your foes. You deal +%str1%%% more damage.
Seems weird. Could be a monster skill or something.

Which version of the GW dat browser allows you to compare differences between builds? Can anyone supply a download link to it?

And then he went and decided to use his billions to fight poverty and disease in Africa. He was so much fun to hate, but he's just not evil like he used to be...

That would be the one that Antitorgo made, and I'll warn you now that he won't supply a link.
GWDatBrowser is an open-source app, and a sufficiently creative person could replicate Antitorgo's work with it. I'd wager the comparison isn't done using the dat browser, only making dumps of the current state. Lots of external apps do comparisons just fine, no need to re-invent the wheel (hurray diff).

I don't think it has been mentioned but the picture of the human fighting the charr is very old and was part of the game. I went back through my pictures and my first suspicions were correct. That image was etched into the wall of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings. I found a SS of the holiday loading screen for the tomb in my folder. Here's the photo:
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your wasting your time on this one. While the text is intriguing it's nothing more then just neat looking jibberish :P. You won't find any big secret out of it.
